The Samsonite brand is synonymous with luggage for many and has stood for innovative and modern travel since its founding in 1910. The traditional company began its success story with a suitcase model made of wood. Subsequently, the groundbreaking Streamlite technology was applied, which wrapped the suitcase with lithographed paper to mimic the effect of raw leather. Samsonite became a classic in the luggage industry, not least because of its iconic shape.

In 1969, Samsonite responded to the growing demand for lightweight yet robust luggage with its first polypropylene suitcase. In 1974, Samsonite made another statement regarding secure travel comfort by integrating wheels into the frame.

Following the introduction of the three-point locking system in 1986, which promised additional, stable security, the first hard-shell suitcase with a zipper was launched in 1994. Then came the first Samsonite aluminum suitcase, which gained additional fame through James Bond - the so-called "Spinner," which could be easily moved in all directions thanks to its four wheels.

Samsonite - a name that stands for the highest quality standards, timeless classics, and innovation. We love Samsonite suitcases!
